CONFIGURATION  Most computers will automatically recognize the new memory when booted up.  If your system requires you to run setup:
  • Upon bootup, you'll be prompted with "memory size mismatch" error or "invalid configuration" message.
  • Select the option that enables you to enter your CMOS setup (typically DEL, CTRL+ALT+ESC, or F2).
  • When you are in setup, save the setings that your computer will automatically input for you, by choosing either SAVE SETTINGS and EXIT, or WRITE TO CMOS options before exiting (typically F10 or F4)).
  • When the settings have been saved, your computer will automatically reboot with the new configuration.
